Justin Heintz

Hello, my name is Justin. I'm currently a 19 year old High School student, living in Mesa, Arizona. I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. I am a beginner iOS Developer, and my first app is available on the App Store for $0.99.

In my free time I like to go bicycle riding. I also do mobile application beta testing for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in my free time.

East Valley Institute of Technology 2012 - present

Multimedia at East Valley Institute of Technology encompasses design and composition using typography, illustration and images to help students land a future career in graphic design and digital photography.

While taking this class I have learned how to manipulate photos using Adobe Photoshop, edit and re-touch photos and set up photo shoots. I have developed skills to produce websites and printed materials for school programs, special events and public clients.

Over the course of the class I have compiled a portfolio showcasing my work that I can use to apply for employment, design schools or college.

Software Developer 2012 - present

Let me start off by saying I'm just getting into and learning software development. As of right now (May 2013) I'm mostly focussing on the iOS platform (iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad devices).

I have developed a small iPhone and iPod touch app that will allow you to create Tweets or Facebook status updates with prefixed text, also called headers. It makes use of the iOS 6.0+ Social APIs that Apple has made available to developers.

It is available on the App Store for $0.99 and has over 100 downloads. You can view the app's website by clicking here.

I love to take pictures, although I'm not a professional I still like it as a hobby. Below are some of my photographs that I have taken.

NOTE: Please link back to my website if you use these images in any way. Thanks!
